%{{tag.tag}} {{articledata.title}} {{moment(articledata.cdate)}} @{{articledata.company.replace(" ","")}} comment %Bitcoin (CRYPTO: $BTC ) dominance of the %Cryptocurrency sector has fallen below 60% as investors shift capital into other digital assets such as %Ethereum (CRYPTO: $ETH ) and %Dogecoin (CRYPTO: $DOGE ). Bitcoin's dominance refers to its share of the total cryptocurrency market capitalization. Bitcoin's market cap currently stands at $2.39 trillion U.S., while the overall cryptocurrency market has surged past $4 trillion U.S., a record high. The last time Bitcoin's dominance was this low, its price was below $100,000 U.S. BTC is currently trading at $120,500 U.S., having gained more than 25% this year. Ethereum has been a key driver of the current rally and diversification, climbing to $4,700 U.S. At the same time, investors are rotating capital into U.S. stocks, which are also at all-time highs. Both the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 indices set fresh records on Aug. 12 of this year. Adding fuel to the current bull market are expectations that the U.S. Federal Reserve will begin lowering interest rates at its Sept. 17 meeting. A 25-basis point cut in September would bring the benchmark federal funds interest rate down to a range of 4.00% to 4.25%. Lower interest rates would make risk assets such as crypto and stocks even more attractive to investors.
