Based in Singapore, Bitdeer is a global Bitcoin miner. The company recently expanded to Canada with a mining site in the Province of Alberta.Like many crypto miners, Bitdeer is shifting its operations to also include high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (A.I.) data centres.But the company still remains committed to mining BTC as evidenced by its unaudited operational update for February."Our significant capital investments in late 2025 continues to drive momentum in our self-mining hashrate reaching 68 EH/s in February," said Matt Kong, Chief Business Officer of Bitdeer, in a news release.Bitdeer added that, despite its expansion into A.I. and high-performance computing, including at a new site located in Ohio, it expects its hashrate to continue to grow throughout 2026."We further strengthened our balance sheet through the successful completion of a $375 million senior convertible note offering, providing the financial flexibility to continue accelerating our strategy," added Kong.Bitdeer also announced the launch of its latest cryptocurrency mining machine called the "SEALMINER DL1 Air."The new mining machine will be used to produce other cryptocurrencies such as Litecoin (CRYPTO: $LTC ) and Dogecoin (CRYPTO: $DOGE ).BTDR stock is down 30% this year and trading at $8.13 U.S. per share.
